Effective 1 October 2026
This is a service for holding something precious, so these terms try to be plain about what we will and won't do. Please read them before you add anything to your book.
Still With Me is provided by Stillwind FZE LLC, a company registered in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, at Office BC-890255, 26th Floor, Amber Gem Tower, Sheikh Khalifa Street, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at info@still-wind.com, and we answer every message ourselves.
Still With Me is a digital memorial book. It comes free with a STILLWIND memorial lantern. You claim your book using the card in the box, fill it in with photographs, recordings and words about someone you have lost, and read it at a private link.
The free book has limits on how many photographs, recordings and entries it holds. Every part of the book is usable within them, and text is not limited at all. If you reach a limit you can open the whole book with a single payment of US$19.99. There is nothing to subscribe to and nothing renews — see section 8.
The link is the key. There are no passwords and no accounts, deliberately — nobody should have to create an account while grieving. That means anyone who has your link can open your book.
Please share each one deliberately, and treat the editing link the way you would treat a password. If you lose your links, write to us with your Amazon order number and we can help — but we cannot recover a book if we cannot identify it.
Your book is yours. We do not claim any ownership of your photographs, your recordings or your words, and we do not use them for anything except showing them back to you and the people you share them with.
By adding something you confirm that you have the right to. Photographs and recordings often include other living people — family, friends, children — and by uploading them you are confirming you may share them in this way. Please do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you would not be entitled to distribute.
We do not routinely look at the contents of anyone's book. If something is reported to us as unlawful we may need to review it and, in serious cases, remove it or close the book.
Every book has a Download a copy button in its share menu. It gives you a folder containing the photographs, the recordings, a readable page you can open in any browser, and all your words as plain data — none of it needing us, or the internet, ever again.
Please use it. We intend to keep your book available and we take real care with it, but no online service can honestly promise to exist forever, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Keep your own copy somewhere safe, and keep it somewhere other than the device you read the book on.
The service is provided as it is. We may improve it, change how it works, or occasionally take it offline for maintenance. We may also introduce limits on new books in future — if we do, those limits will apply only to books created after the date we announce, and your book keeps the terms it was created under.
If we ever had to withdraw the service altogether, we would give reasonable notice and time to download copies.
Write to info@still-wind.com from the email address the book was claimed with, and we will delete it — the photographs, the recordings and the contents. Download your copy first, because we cannot undo it.
US$19.99, paid once. It removes the limits on that one book, permanently. It is not a subscription: there is no renewal, no second payment, and nothing we can later fail to renew. We will not take the book, or anything in it, away from you for not paying us again, because there is nothing to pay again.
Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or hold your card details. The receipt comes from Stripe to the email address the book was claimed with.
All sales are final. Because the book is digital and opens the moment it is paid for, we do not offer refunds for a change of mind. We will refund a payment that was made by mistake: a duplicate charge, a book paid for twice, or a charge you did not make. Write to info@still-wind.com from the address the payment was made with and tell us what happened. If a payment is refunded, the book returns to its free limits. Nothing in it is deleted: every photograph, recording and word already in the book stays there and stays readable. This does not affect any right to a refund that your local consumer law gives you.
If your lantern is returned to Amazon, that is a separate matter and does not affect a book you have paid to open.
A book can also be bought without a lantern, on still-wind.com, for US$29.99 paid once. That book has no limits from the start. After payment we email a setup link to the address given at checkout. The link can be used once, by you or by anyone you forward it to, to make one book; whoever uses it enters the details and receives the link to the finished book.
The same rule applies: all sales are final, except a payment made by mistake. If a mistaken payment is refunded before the book has been made, the setup link stops working.
We provide Still With Me without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of faults, or that content will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable — the book has a “Download a copy” button for exactly this reason, and we would rather you used it than trusted us alone.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of content or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us for this service — which is nothing if your book is free, US$19.99 if you have opened it, and US$29.99 if you bought it on its own.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights your local law gives you, and nothing here takes those away.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. That does not affect any mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live, which you keep in full.
Questions, corrections, a name spelled wrongly on a cover, or anything at all: info@still-wind.com. A person reads it.
